I maintain that you can find corners of brilliance anywhere, if you take the time to look for them. I aim to be happy, no matter the surroundings. I believe that anything (even the small, overlooked, mundane, daily activities...and maybe especially those sorts of things) can be an ADVENTURE if you have the right attitude. Of course, matching t-shirts also always help endeavor. And yes, if I get to wear an outfit, I really will be more apt to do something...I enjoy outfits.

There is no grass!

So I was trying to explain to my mom the other day about the lack of grass in my neighborhood. I live in the financial district, so even though my apartment is back in its own sidestreet and not a high-rise concrete monolith like most, we still do not have yards. To find grass, you need to go to a designated area, like a park or wetland.

I took some pictures of my neighborhood to illustrate this point:

    You're right! No grass! Do you want me to mail you some? :) I just found out one of my friends from Hope just got married and is moving (back?) to South Korea. I don't know where, but if you want me to track her down, I would in a heartbeat! You'd probably like her a lot actually- she spent two years in Hawaii doing Teach for America and then in South Korea doing something and, well, plus she went to Hope so she's awesome! Yeah, I miss you.
